Hello, my name is Marieke.
With great passion, I guide (expectant) parents through the beautiful and sometimes challenging moments of pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.
In addition, I also work as an independent home nurse, providing care in people’s familiar environments. Whether it’s wound care, administering medication, or other medical support… working in healthcare is much more than a job; it’s a calling that brings fulfillment every day.
What I love most is the difference you can make in someone’s life. Whether it’s a patient’s smile, a family’s thank-you, or simply knowing you’ve helped someone feel a little better, these are the moments that make this work so special.
No day is the same. You meet people from all walks of life, hear countless stories, and continuously learn—not just as a professional, but also as a person. It’s intense, yes, but that intensity is precisely what makes it so rewarding. I am proud of what I do because I know it truly matters.
Beyond my work, I am energetic and driven, fully embracing life. Together with my partner, I share a passion for discovering new places, both near and far. We enjoy trips, vacations, and long walks in nature. These moments allow us to relax and recharge, maintaining a balance between hard work and enjoying life.
